Description
While on a country drive in Lassen County California, I saw this 4 year old bald eagle sitting in a tree and it was gracious enough to sit there long enough for me to park, get out of my truck, and grab a few frames. As you can probably see, it was pretty breezy that afternoon so the young raptorโs head feathers got a bit ruffled. A minute or so after this frame was shot the birdโs sibling came along and knocked it off the tree, perched there for a few seconds, and took off again.
