I captured this image during an early morning walk in the Sacramento Riverbend area, Tehama County, California, near Red Bluff. The scene, photographed at dawn in March, shows Hog Lake with a beautiful sky and hazy mountains beyond silhouetted trees on the shoreline. In the distance, Mount Lassen and Chaos Crags in Lassen Volcanic National Park are visible. The 16:9 crop enhances the panoramic feel, perfectly capturing the serene beauty of this landscape.
