Description
The Hog Fire of 2020 in Lassen County, Northern California, USA. The image was shot at sunset from the Thompson Peak Lookout above Janesville, California after I hiked up a mile through less than stellar air quality to say the least. The fire quickly exploded to over 9000 acres and threatened homes, resulting in the evacuation of one community. This image is dedicated to all the wonderful people who put their lives on the line and work long hours to bring these blazes under control and all proceeds from any sales of this image will go to charity related to helping fire victims (California Fire Foundation, Red Cross, etc, based upon current assessment of need).

Beautiful photograph Mike. I did not realize at first look the tragedy behind the image. Your description tells all.
