Description
While out for a drive in Lassen County, California, I was blessed to have this bald eagle strike a few poses for me atop this tall post. On this particular morning the light was absolutely wonderful in this spot as the sun, slightly to camera right and behind me, was filtering through a huge bank of fog that had formed adjacent to the near-by Honey Lake. This created sort of a natural soft box to wonderfully light the majestic creature.
