Description
Retired AH-1 Huey Cobra helicopter on display at the Veteran's Memorial adjacent to Susanville Municipal Airport in Susanville California, USA. The image was captured at sunrise on November 10, 2020 with Veteran's day in mind and goes out to all who've worn the uniform to keep the American flag flying proud, whether or not they rode in a chariot such as this.

Great sunset photo of a retired military helicopter and a tribute to the soldiers who fought for the United States, Mike! F/L

Fabulous clouds on fire as background! There is a similar Cobra similarly mounted on an elevated sled in Tonawanda, New York but slanted down so the nose of the Cobra looks as if it's in an attack dive! I've been through Susanville a few times decades ago, but did not stop to sightsee. It'd be a great treat to see this!! Never Forget!!!
