Description
I took a morning walk at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding California, USA. Naturally, an automatic stop is the nesting site of Mrs. Liberty and her mate Guardian, a pair of bald eagles who nest along the river there. On this particular morning she was busy in the nest as a couple other photographers occupied the decent spots to get a shot of her. But he was perched on this dead snag off to the side where I had a clear view of him. He sat quite still for a while until something got him in a bit of a tizzy and he let out a few squawks and got his feathers all ruffled up. A few seconds later he went back to his “chilling.”
