Description
In 1986, a young Will Wheaton and his fellow child actors ran across this railroad trestle being chased by a steam powered train in one of my favorite movies of all time, 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘺 𝘔𝘦 (based on a great Steven King short story, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺). When I lived in Shasta County California a number of years ago the tracks were still on it and you could walk out there and take in the view of Lake Britton below. The tracks have long been removed and fences have been installed across the ends in a feeble effort to keep people off it.
On this autumn morning the adjacent Dusty Campground was empty, the leaves were changing, and conditions were quite moody with the low clouds so I grabbed this frame.

That's one of our favorite movies too. Just watched it again not long ago. A beautiful autumn capture, Mike, and nice description. Love the atmosphere. L/fv/pin
