Description
This image captures a railroad crossing in the remote northwestern Nevada desert. The image was taken just as "astro darkness" was giving way to "civil twilight." This timing, along with some wispy clouds reflecting a bit of light pollution from nearby Reno resulted in in wonderful tones in the sky, which features the galactic core of our Milky Way.
