Description
While standing on the shore of Baum Lake in Shasta County California, USA, I heard some racket of the type only the Canadian goose can make. When I looked to the direction of the sound I saw these two devoted parents chasing off another pair of geese that got too close to the clutch.

WOW, what a terrific shot. I know geese can be aggressive and this is an excellent capture of them protecting their babies.
