Description
This image captures a large flock of snow geese taking off from a farm field in rural Lassen County, California in a mid February morning. Such scenes are very common near my Janesville California home during the snow goose migrations in both autumn and spring when they come through the area in quite large numbers and use the shores of the near-by Honey Lake as a stop over.
