Description
This image captures part of a very large solar (photovoltaic) farm in the northwestern Nevada desert, near the California state line. Over the last several years a company has been installing many acres of panels like these over miles of the high desert landscape.
I used a “full spectrum” modified digital camera fitted with an 830 nanometer filter to capture the monochrome image using only infrared light.
