Artist's Description
This image captures my favorite old local barn in Lassen County, California, USA. It was captured on a chilly February morning after a light dusting of snow the night before. I used a telephoto focal length to compress the barn and Thompson Peak behind it together, giving the appearance of the barn sitting closer to the foot of the mountain. The combination of wonderful golden hour light and fresh snow really bring the image together.
