Description
On this January morning the outside temp was 9 degrees (and no, that's NOT Celsius , folks) and the dewpoint was too so I took a bit of a spin looking for fog, which I love to shoot in. I didn't have to go far to be rewarded. Very near the Janesville Park, which is less than a mile from my house, I spotted this scene in a hay field adjacent to the park. I think irrigation "wheel lines" are pretty cool and I love this big black oak that stands out alone and strong in this field. Unfortunately, in clear conditions, there is lots of background clutter that makes it difficult to get a nice photo of the beautiful tree. The fog wonderfully took care of that issue so this was a frame I had to grab.
