Artist's Description
Middle McCloud Falls shot very early on an autumn morning. The outside temperature was 28 degrees Fahrenheit, and there was not another human in sight. It was wonderful just to have such a majestic place to myself. To come away with a couple of nice images was just a wonderful bonus!
The crisp morning air carried the soothing sound of rushing water, echoing through the surrounding forest. Mist rose gently from the falls, catching the soft glow of dawn and adding an ethereal quality to the scene. The contrast of dark, rugged rock against the silky smooth flow of water was made even more striking in black and white, emphasizing the timeless beauty of this hidden gem. Autumn leaves clung to the branches above, hinting at the changing season while the steady flow of the McCloud River remained constant. In this moment of solitude, it was easy to feel completely immersed in nature, appreciating the quiet power and grace of this spectacular waterfall.
