Artist's Description

The plume from the Dixie Fire of 2021 billowing smoke as seen from nearby Deer Creek. This brutal fire burned from mid July to well into October. This fire got to within just over a mile of my home forcing my wife and I to evacuate for 2 weeks. Thankfully for us, the amazing folks who battle these blazes were able to keep it from entering our small community.
