Dante’s View, named for Dante Alighieri, author of Divina Commedia (The Devine Comedy), is one of the more popular places in Death Valley National Park. It provides a wonderful vista over Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Continental United States, the Panamint Mountains, and more. There is a well built viewing area with several very informative informational signs.
