Description
While I love nature and lots of birds, I think the osprey may be my favorite bird of prey. I never tire of watching them ply their craft at catching fish, although as an angler myself, I admit to occasional frustration when they’re catching them and I’m not. I hope to someday get a good capture of that moment when one of these magnificent creatures makes a catch. On this day at Baum Lake in Shasta County California, this bird had just missed one, as I also missed the moment of impact with the water with my camera. However, the beautiful bird did grace me with a nice fly-by as some water was still dripping from its tail feathers.
