Description

This isn't an interaction I can say I've seen before this. This mule deer fawn and young buck were quite chummy for several minutes as I watched a bunch of deer keeping this rancher's field mowed for him in Janesville California, USA. My wife theorized that the young buck could be a yearling from the same mother as the fawn. This works for me, absent a better explanation...
