Description
This panoramic image captures Antelope Lake in Plumas County, California, USA on a very moody June morning. A cold front had come through overnight and dropped the ambient air temperature down to the low 30’s Fahrenheit while the surface temperature of the water approaches 70 degrees in late spring. These conditions make for a great deal of fog coming off the water. Add to this the low clouds that were blowing out as the early morning golden sunshine tried to break through and it was a beautiful scene to behold!
If you look very closely or view the left side of the island at 100% you'll see a mule deer doe that waded to the island across the shallow water on that side. I must confess I didn't see her until I processed the image.

Nice panorama Mike, almost looks like a landscape in clouds as it sits between lake mist and fog!

wow, it looks like something out of a powder keg. I have never seen a pink kind of fog, Mike. Awesome picture!
